New Coop Construction/Coop Plans - With Photos.

I bought Black Copper Marans recently and needed something to house them in. I wasn't happy with the pallet idea - so, I decided to make the walls 5' and buy 10 ft. 2x4 and cut everything in half. I think I'm going to go with a 'hip roof'. I went out to the barn this morning and found I already had all the 2x6 for the floor. And I was able to find stuff I bought from home depot and return it. I think this might be a very low cost coop!

Well, after much delay I finally got around to uploading some photos. I've made more progress than what's shown, just have to take some more photos!

Then the rest of the common rafters. My laying flock has been jealous and had to come have a look around.

It looks a bit goofy now that it is all complete. The walls are only 5' and I have a 10 inch overhang, oh well...
