New coop different place in yard

I built a much bigger coop for my ladies. It is on the other side of the yard and much nicer. My problem is the chickens are going to where there old house was but there is nothing there now. They simple huddle together where it used to be? I pick them up and put them in the new coop myself. I have done this for three days now how long before they "move in" all the way?

Any help on this?

Just did the same thing bout 6 weeks ago. It took mine about 4 or 5 days and even the guineas and turkeys were going in by themselves. Good luck!

Is it big enough or attached to a run so you can keep them locked in for several days? That's what I do to help mine settle in.

No they run around at will no fencing at all.

they are going in and laying eggs in the nesting boxes and hanging out though..
