New coop made from pallet wood for my DD's Silkies!

fantastic way to reuse! we get TONS of pallets from the company my DH works for. they are handy for lots of projects.

hope your little girl enjoys it for a long time!

Great job! We built a coop that measures 60x32 out of pallet wood. We have several more pallets laying around, but these are kiln dried oak and poplar and you cannot drive a nail thru them without drilling holes first! LOL!!! I am so glad my 3 year old DD isn't the only little kid running around toting a chicken!

Fantastic!!!! Now to find some pallets......

Cute kid

Thank you all! It was fun to build this for her and see her excitement the whole time. She tells everyone that comes over that it is her very own coop.

They are actually what they call "lids" that come off of the cases that glass comes in. I got them from our local mirror/glass company. Call around to your glass companies and see if they might have any cases or lids. We've been able to get 2x10's, 2x6's, and the lumber that you see posted in my pics.
