New coop questions

[first time farmer]

I am building a shed for my senior project. The shed is going to house my chickens (27) and the yard tools(rakes and what not) I also would like to have a storage section in the coop/shed for chicken stuff. I also want to have a brooder in the coop as well or at least a section to use as a brooder. A 16 by 10 coop would give me 160 sq feet do you think that is big enough for every thing I want in it?

I think that's plenty big enough. I would build the shed with 2 rooms, one for the brooder and storage, and one large room (at least 100 square feet) for the birds.

should be plenty of room.

See if you can find upper kitchen cabinets to use for storage. Keeps them off the floor.
