Thank you for you concerns on predators. We live in the middle of Phoenix and really the only predators we have are cats. My 2 dogs do a great job keeping them out. Yes there is a hasp on the inner door as well as the newly installed outer door. I used hardware wire on the front of the coop. The rest is blocked off by 3 walls so chicken wire will be fine. The ceiling is not done I need to remove it and put rain gutter and Misting system. After that I will be putting chicken wire under the bamboo. The foam insulation is 4" from the chicken wire. I don't think the chickens can reach it. But if I notice they do I will address that. It is too hot to finish the coop today. I gave the chickens a little pool to play in and keep cool. I also have a fan blowing now. Our leghorn likes to sit in the water in front of the fan.. I will keep updating.
