New Coop/Runs Under Construction..UPDATE!!!

We FINALLY finished our new chicken coop! (Except for the poop board or sling and painting the addition).
I wanted to simply update my original post, but cannot figure out how to do that. So here are before/during/after pics of my flock's new home.❤❤❤
(Excuse the ladders....hubby has one thing left to do on the roof.)

For now the ventilation is just the 2 windows (covered with hardware cloth) that open in from the top.
We haven't decided where to put vents yet.

With that many chickens you'll need about 12 more windows that size. If it were me, I'd probably open up a whole wall. A large east facing opening will get some light into the building early in the morning.
I try to shoot for 1 sq. ft. of opening per bird. Many years with up to 100 birds and I've never had a respiratory issue in a flock.
