Wow, that is just wonderful. Your girls will be so happy there. My only suggestion would be to go to a flooring store to see if they have any linoleum remnants. I got mine for $5. It is so much easier to clean than wood, plus it won't harbor mites or lice.

Thank you for all your compliments, but I can't take credit as each and every idea came from BYC!

Just to let you know, the flooring in the coop is a left over piece of vinyl although its hard to tell in the pic (no hardwood flooring for these chicks).

I still have to figure out nesting. And, I'm not looking forward to bending down all the time. The lack of sun was traded for the larger run size available on the north side of the building. I tell people the coop is a fine example of "marital comprimise."
