We're 18 weeks into backyard chicken keeping. My husband and I recently finished the coop! Im sure something was forgotten. There is one nesting box in the corner near the water container. Hope to add south-facing window. Have bird netting covering the run but concerned it may be too light. My main concern is ventilation. Have yet to have a noticeable odor problem. So here are a few photos of the coop. I'm so excited to begin this journey. Started with four chicks but now have two as our city prohibits roosters. If all goes well will add a couple more to the flock next spring. As the coop/run is adjacent to our garage we plan to install gutters. Is gravel OK until the gutters go up? Would like to minimize mud problems. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
