It's a woods open air design, after seeing JACKE'S post of his coop I knew that is what I was looking to build. New to this so bare with me

Looks great! I'm curious, how many chickens do you plan to keep in it? I would really like to build one like yours, but I wonder what the dimensions are. I am anxious to see more pictures as you progress!

Right now I have 10 chicks that reside in the coop, but i'm sure there will be more. The coop is 8'X 16' and 9' at the highest point.

Still have to do alittle trim work around the door, add some more roost and nesting boxes. Going to use thompsons on it, also awnings over the windows and door and a couple of flower boxes. Thank's for the look. Tim

Very nice! My dh is building me one of those next spring! Already cut down many trees and sawed them up into wood for the project and cleared the space. Looking at yours makes me want it now!
