New Country Organics decline in quality

Yes, I will post it tomorrow. It basically looks like black pepper. I ground up the Manna Pro just to see if it was in there too and it was. So it must be some kind of mineral? Noticed Manna Pro had a lot more crunchy bits of corn, whereas the Nature's Best grinds much finer not clogging up the tube. I'd like to find a soy free organic pellet, but that is non existent in our local feed stores. : \
There are soy free organic feeds out there.
It's my bedtime. Tomorrow morning I will link a few brands here for you and I'll see if any of the makers of it actually direct ship.

Also. I'm going to throw some of my feed..it's a crumble...into my blender tomorrow to see if I can spot any black specks.

Where do you live?

Be sure to check the date on Nature's Best. The last bag I bought from Tractor Supply was 11 months old and it had just arrived at the store!
Got a new bag this morning. The only thing I could make out of the lot number was 18. Hopefully meaning 2018. Organic feed is so limited around here. The tide was changing but it's become a bit stagnant now that there are options. But the options are still limited.

Hi, just took some pics. I ground it in the coffee grinder and really watered it down, then dumped it in the sink so you can see what I mean. If you swirl the cup around dump it and keep adding water/swirl/dump these black granules will be all that's left on the bottom. They must be heavy. Maybe it's some kind of grit?? Or a mineral.

I have a coffee grinder too.
I just haven't had time to test my feed yet.

Does your bag of feed list exact ingredients?
