New Delawares

My Question Is, I Have 4 Isa Browns 1yr. Old Hens, When Is It Safe To Put The 4 Delawares (hens) With Them . The Delawares Are 5wks Old And I Live In Michigan With 30- 50 Degree Days Still. Thanks!

Not until the chicks are the same size, physically, as the hens. Otherwise the hens will be able to pick on the chicks and possibly hurt/ even kill them.
