I just got a garburator by chance.
I thought...hmm... Maybe i can put this in the coop to help turn manure into fertilizer/compost for the garden!
any thoughts/ideas on this?

You're thinking of using what we call a garbage disposal to finely shred your coop waste? It would still need to be composted as fresh chicken poop is much to acidic to add directly to your garden I think?

Depending upon the size of your coop thats a lot of stuff to run through your disposal. Not sure how whatever type of litter you use would affect the 'garburator'.

take the poop right to the compost pile and let it break down. I put some on my garden, once, and will never use it again. It burned up everything it touched, the garden was a total loss that year.

Mostly planning on just mixing the manure and wood shavings with a bit of warm water and before throwing it on the garden putting it through again with some kitchen compost...and I was gonna set it up else where than the coop, set up like a juicer with a funnel going in and throwing it right onto the pile.
