NEW DEVLPMNTS/ PLEASE HELP! Weird Stevey Wonder head movement?

OK, one of my 9 week old silkie chicks has had this for awhile but I thought it would go away as I have been adding vitamins to the water daily for 2 weeks now. He/she has shown no improvement!?!?!?!? I have read about crooked nech and it doesn't sound like that so I'm very confused (I know that's not hard-hahaha). So here's the deal:
-one minute it 's fine than it starts doing this movement that makes it look like Stevey Wonder when he's doing his head thing. Then it stops. It has gotten progressively longer.
-it eats fine.
-they were on medicated starter but then I had to get non medicated starter as the chicks that should be in soon were vaccinated. The only non medicated starter anyone around here has is game bird starter. I put them on that yesterday (they LOVE it BTW)
-two weeks I have added vitamins to water every day
-every other day I have added garlic just in case and occasionally I have added ACV

What is wrong and what can I do to fix it????

exactly what vitamins have you been giving?
And you mentioned new chicks that had been vaccinated coming in that was the reason you stopped the medicated starter for THESE chicks... (are they vaccinated for cocci? for anything else?)
I strongly urge you to keep the new chicks separated from these and that you put these BACK on the medicated starter and keep the two groups separate for at least six weeks.

Why keep the chicks seperated? Do you think they will catch something from the vaccines???

I was just wondering if it had to do with the vaccines. I keep new chicks in my living room for 10-11 weeks anyway. So they will be seperated for the time period that DlHUnicorn suggested.

Does anyone know what's wrong with the silkie though? What would cause the whole stevie wonder thing???

Hi! I have a nearly 1 yo roo that does that! He shakes his head back and forth--kinda like my dd does when she's making a point! lol (At least that's the joke in our house) He started doing it when he was about 3 months. I thought it was a rooster thing, as he is our first roo. But dh says somethings wrong with that bird.
Anyway, he has not been sick at all, does all the usual roo stuff and no one else has been sick this way. I took a little video of him with our camera--it's not really good quality. I tried to put it here, but can't figure out how to do it.
Hope your little one is not sick, but my guess is it could be a roo.

I am asking about the vitamins because sometimes ppl mistakenly think electrolytes/vitamins are ok to give theri birds when actually you should only give an electroyte mix in specific situations...please look on that bag and see if it says ELECTRYOLYTE/vitamins...

If you are getting vaccinated birds (mareks) then they will shed the virus and the risk is there that your UNvaccinated birds will become ill. You will also need to ensure any birds you get in the future are vaccinated and also inform folks who are buying from you that this is vaccinated stock .

As for the Stevey Wonder shake... by any chance is the head fluff on the little guy big enough to get into it's eyes? I had a silkie hen who did this funky head moving when she wanted to see... but stopped after I found out she kept getting her poof IN her eye! Poor thing. Her poof grew downwards on one side of her head instead of straight up and out. I clipped them back so she didn't have to shake them off. Else, I am not sure, so listen to dl about those vitamins and be careful with the vaccinated birds.
