New Dominique Chicks!

We have happily become the dumping ground for our local feed store. When people fail to pick up the chicks they have ordered... they call us and we happily trot up their to purchase them.

We got two Barnvelders that way and now we have two new Dominiques! My husband is up at the feed store getting the little darlings now.

Dominiques are great birds... friendly not too big. I would have gotten more but they are small egg layers. The roosters are great and also friendly. Good luck!

Thanks... they are really cute! Here is the weird thing. They look just like our Cuckoo Marin chicks. So now I can't tell which are which. Do all baby chicks look this much alike???

True Dominique's have rose combs, so if you look at their combs they should be flat. The cuckoos have a single comb.
