Hello I have had so many questions lately I feel helpless! I just incubated my welsh harlequin’s eggs at work for my elderly residents. I brought them home and have been slowly introducing them to their “mommy” and they are trying to follow her and she is terrified of them! Is that normal?

My youngs and olds were horrified of each other. Best off using a brooder for a month then putting them together

Others will give advice too its just what ide do

P.S what you did for the seniors is soo sweet :)

Yes it’s absolutely normal. But it is slightly humorous to watch adults be terrified of the tiny ducklings. If the Mom didn’t hatch them herself, she will likely not raise them. You will have to raise them until they are adults and able to keep our from under the others feet.
