I'll do just one for tonight, cause I'm tired LOL
Jingo
9 weeks, I can't remember the exact date.
prettiest duck
This is Jingo,my baby, she is a call/mallard mix, she was hatched here, I started the eggs, day one through 26 under a broody hen(chicken) LOL, then stole then and put them in the incubator to finish hatching, she hatched with 4 others, a blue and yellow duckling, and two purebred mallards, all related. one pure mallard, and the blue duckling both found homes, the other mallard disapeared

she's a little sweetheart, she still likes to be petted on, and follows me around.

omgosh i have a call mallard mix that looks just like that and now im breeding her back to a mallard when i first got her a thought she was the runt of the swedes i bought then i email the people i got her from and she is mallard call mix she is really pretty my PeeWee looks almost idenical!!

Well - I see I have to give Jingo a little competition.

This is Griselda, or "The Mighty Zelda"
This picture was taken this spring, marking her 4th birthday.
She's competing for "Prettiest Duck"

Zelda was one of my first three ducks that I found on Craigslist. She was thrown in free with her two Khaki Campbell "sisters" - and spends all day lounging in her pool (except when she decides to lay an egg in her run at noon and go broody over it, hissing and lunging at me when I walk by).

These are pictures I took of Penelope about 3 or 4 weeks ago when she was a day or two old. She is either a Bufflehead or Goldeneye (jury is still out) rescue. She is competing for the title of cutest duckling. Penelope is our first duck. We also have a little mallard now (thanks to Mrs.AKBirdBrain

) to keep her company and those two are inseparable! I wasn't sure I wanted ducks at first . . . . . but now I can't imagine not having them!

Napping in her dish . . .

. . . after practicing her escape flight!

Hmmm.... I definitely have to put Coco our Indian runner/Khaki Campbell mix at 9 weeks. Won Best of Show in the open Poultry Show at our County Farm Fair. Beat every other bird entered!!!!

Funniest will have to be our drake Meera (thought he was a girl as we ordered all females) in the costume contest at the fair. It's not easy to dress a duck. LOL

Kinda sad to look at but it lives a really normal life. We love this duck a lot... even if it does look like a little monster.

Can I enter two pictures in the same category? Because I definately have all the cutest ducklings in the world.

This is little Sunshine at 1 day old, competing for "Cutest Duckling". He was a White Mallard, and was thrown in for free when I bought my two standard Mallards because he was so runty and weak. Unfortunately, he didn't make it through his first night, and died a few hours after this picture was taken.

These are his two big siblings, Rainstorm and Lullaby, both Mallards, and also competing for Cutest Duckling. They were raised together, just the two of them, so they're inseparable - and extremely tame and friendly.

This first one is Pearl, Pearl is 13 weeks old. I brought Pearl home at 3 days old, it just amazes me how quikly the go from cute little fuzzy butts to beautiful adolecent birds.
Prettiest Duck

This is R.C. he is up for hansomest Drake. R.C. seems to be the most docile out of my flock. But he is also the laziest bird I have ever owned.R.C. is also 13 weeks old.

Best Flock Picture
This is my small backyard flock, they are all Muscovies and all 13 weeks old. Unfortunatly I have only been able to come up with names for two of them, ny to other ducks as of now are still nameless.
