This little guy is a wild Mallard that I rasied. He had never seen water till I raised him up enough to take him to our pond. And he dove and swimmed and did all the quacking that a Mallard can do!!

Enjoying a swim on a nice summer day in June. Soft soothing sounds of bees, frogs, and ducks drift upon the wind. Sweet smells of freshly mowed hay among dipping and soaring barn swallows takes me back to long ago to my childhood.

This little fella was a member of 10 Chinese Geese. Once they were old enough to join the pond, they had a grand time. Till one day after work I discovered that he amoung several others were killed by a neighbor's dog. Little Guy will always have a special place in my heart for I never met anything so small with such large heart and personality.
