Does anyone know the breed, sex or age ? We named her Ruby but I am thinking she's maybe a male? What is the best food/brand to feed her? She is currently eating crumbles and fresh fruits and vegetables. Is there any way to get them to be less mouthy?

You could try vent sexing her/him. There are tutorials on YouTube on how to vent sex a duckling. Your duckling also looks around the age of my ducklings. Mine are about 2-3 weeks old. However, I have no idea what breed of duck that is, but I can get someone who might have an idea of what breed she/he is. @Amiga

If this also helps some, our ducklings used eat Manna Pro Gamebird/Showbird feed. (It was an excellent feed and they loved it, but it only comes in a 5lb bag, which we were going through too quickly.) Tomorrow they're trying out Nutrena NatureWise Meatbird feed. It comes in a 40lb bag and I've so far read excellent reviews about it. The ingredients are very similar to the Manna Pro feed, but the Nutrena feed has 2% less protein than the Manna Pro feed.

Thank you so much for the information. I will definitely be switching food. I guess I will just have to wait for his/ her feathers to come in .
