We just got our ducklings at tractor supply, two at a time seperately. Thankfully, it looks like we only have one Drake. We have three Pekins and one khaki Campbell (as far as I know). My oldest hen, Squirt, has always seemed different, though she is also the most gentle. I put a lot of love into the first two and they are extremely well behaved for ducks from what I've learned. Squirt loves to be held and likes pets, but only from me. I noticed she was sitting down a lot, and since I put vitamin B complex in her water, I don't see it nearly as much. But now for the past week, even as we're sitting down outside together (it's overcast and chilly) she has been panting constantly. Ive tried Google and nothing helps. I've been lurking on this site for a while and you guys are great and have helped us so much. If anyone has anymore insite onto why she's panting it would help us out with our worry since she's our baby girl. Also they do get bath time in our tub right now, twice a day and their water during the day is deep enough for her to dip her bill into. We do keep them in the tub now during the night just because we live in the woods and don't have the proper coop built for them for us to feel safe about it yet, but they do have a small run to enjoy when it's nice out.
