New duck owner to a Rouen drake ,a crested , khaki Campbell

Hello my name is meghan i recently lost my best friend he left behind 2 girls who he had bought baby ducks for well after he died the girls could no longer take care of the dogs so I adopted them they're doing pretty good I just have a few questions when it comes to mating the Khaki Campbell I think it's sterile but she's gone Brody on a nest and I have a white crested who her eggs seem to be alive but they're in different stages of life I'm unsure why
