new duck owner

Ok so I was given 2 malerds 1 drake and 1 hen and they are adults the hen is laying but I know nothing about them.

I've had chickens and doing great if caring (feed fresh water scraps checking coop and love) and cleaning eggs (scrub pad with water same temp or just s but warmer for egg) all the same for the ducks, or is there more to it?

Also I don't have roosters with my chicks but I do have a drake so will I not be able to eat these eggs?

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but you can eat eggs with or without a Drake/Roo. The fertilized egg is still edible and all you need do is ensure that you are diligent with collecting the eggs.

Yes, you can eat fertile eggs.
