new duck pen

This is our first experience with ducks. They are now 6 weeks old. They lived their first 6 weeks in our 2nd bathroom. In the bottom of a large dog carrier, set inside the bathtub. We have been working on getting their outside pen built for 3 weeks now. We finished it yesterday. And moved the ducks out there last night. Not sure how much it ended up costing us. we had to buy some of the wood, nails, roof and the hardware cloth.
We have a piece of wood that we can slide down between their run and their house. This way we can block them in the run to clean out the house or lock them in the house at night.

Then you can add a day yard with some dog kennel fence and t-posts so they can have a place for their small pool...

Yes Mallards. And we still do have to get there pool put in. Working on it and getting a drain plug put in the pool. We made it so that we can easily add on to the run. The run right now is 4 ft long.
