Hi,this is Chris, a new ducking Mom
I have had adult ducks for 12 years. Unfortunately I lost one to cancer and two to predators last year. So, because I just need ducks in my life always, I recently acquired 3 two week old Call duck babies who are currently living in my bathroom in a huge box. They are extremely adorable and extremely messy! I’m looking for advice on building a larger area for them until they can go outside into the barn. Also any info on bonding with them.

Hi, I am new to ducks but I happened to buy a 6 foot x 1 foot foldable pool from Amazon and my ducks were okay living in it until they were 6 weeks old. I have Pekins and they are large. I just threw shavings in and cleaned it twice a day and they could stay in the house. I am saving it until my next set of ducklings cuz it worked out so well. Good luck! Editing to add about bonding. I picked up my ducklings everyday but I didn't realize you have to really hold them a lot to get them to bond, at least that is true with Pekins. Next time I get ducklings I want them 1 day old and I will hold them everyday lots. Mine like me okay as long as I am holding tomatoes.
