New ducklings not doing well

Picked up two babies from the post office this morning. They keep laying with their heads down. They have had water and electrolyte water. What else can I do? I really don’t want to lose either. We got two chicks last week and lost one and got these two to replace the lose and be companions for our remaining duckling.

Are they only lying down, or have they been up and active, too? My ducklings always slept with their heads down when they were young.

They are moving around some now too. Ok thank you. Our older duckling never did that so I panicked but she was probably a couple days older when we got her from tractor supply.

that’s good they drank water did they try to eat any food yet ? what kind of food do you have for them?

I ordered them from metzer farm with the starter feed from metzer farm. They have eaten some. They are just much more lethargic than our first two were when we got them from the store. Maybe it was just a hard trip and they need rest?

How are they doing today? Keep up the electrolytes in their water for several days.

Don’t over heat them,they aren’t heated during shipping to much sudden heat a shock to them.
