I have a hard time thinking one of those ducklings ran off they are usually attached at the hip to each other. Most likely a predator. Very sorry! I mean hopefully you’ll find it I just can’t imagine one getting up an leaving the other two behind.Yesterday we lost one of the ducks. I don’t mean a predator got it because our chickens would have told us something was in the backyard, I mean it ran off or is hiding someplace. I spent 2 hours looking for it yesterday and a few hours looking today. I really hope I find the poor thing. Also this might sound horrible but if it is gone I really hope it was one of the females and not my little boy.![]()
The other 3 are safe. They are living in my finished basement, until they can go in the coop in a week or two.I'm very sorry. I hope the other 2 are safe and sound.
