Since we had one mallard duckling arrive DOA last Wednesday, we decided to order a couple more who will be arriving tomorrow or Thursday. In the meantime, we adopted a Rouen who is the same age as the surviving mallard, 8 days today. I really want to put the new ducklings in with the 2 older ducklings and I know I asked this before, but I can't remember what everyone said....sorry. I believe most said it would work, but they have grown so big!!! Especially the Rouen. He has a very mellow personality and I'm not worried about him, but my mallard is a sweetie, but shnarky little thing....Napoleon complex? She still keeps the Rouen in line and established that she was boss as soon as we put them together! She is fine when we put the chicks (also 8 days old) and ducks together to roam around and pretty well ignores them.

Any thoughts as to how to work this? I can always brood them separately, but that would rather see them all together.

Thanks for your thoughts!
