After the passing of my Rouen, I went and got two new ducks for my 6 month old Blue Swedish. I picked them up yesterday and could immediately tell they were not 14 months old like the guy had told me and if they were 14 months than they were extremely malnourished. The wings on the Rouen look awful, it looks like they just cut half her wings off, not even to clip them to prevent flying, but just cut them off. I know they had drakes, but I don’t think a Drake could’ve done this. They are absolutely terrified of us, more than a duck or atleast my ducks have ever acted. If I get close than they hiss at me. It looks like they have bumblefoot or atleast the start of bumblefoot on their feet. I have been spraying their feet with Veterycin and have been putting some boost and nutritional drops into their water. I have nicain ordered and on the way for them. When I gave them their bowl last night full of food and meal worms, they had it ate/spilt within 45 minutes. I have them quarantined from my Blue Swedish so they don’t give her any diseases or sickness they might have. My Blue Swedish doesn’t really show an interest in them, she just kind of looks at them and waddles away lol. I’m thinking this is because they are younger, but I don’t want to fully introduce them until I know they are healthy again. Other than the wings and feet, they looks pretty healthy, they have good eyes and their voices sounds good, they are definitely loud lol.
I put a picture on here, but this is the closest they would let me get without freaking out, I’m scared to get any closer because I don’t want them to hurt themselves. I don’t have an avian vet anywhere near me so I’m just guessing based on the other two ducks I raised.

As far as their wings go, it looks from the picture like they might be going through a hard molt. My Ancona drake currently has no wings like that. He always loses all his feathers at once, while others molt more gradually. Once you get closer to them you should be able to see if there is new feather growth.

Yes I agree with @WhiteTreeOfGondor. These youngsters are going through a molt. They probably feel rotten on top of being scared by the change in environment

Added vitamins -- Rooster Booster Poultry Cell in the water is good, and plenty of niacin can only do good.

Be gentle and patient and they may warm to you in time!
Thank you! My girls never went through molting like this so I was so scared that the man before was abusing them!
