New ducks and I love them

First time duck owner and oh my gosh, they are PRECIOUS. I knew they'd be cute but.....wow. My order from Cackle was for 2 silver appleyards, 2 ancona, 1 blue swedish, and 1 cayuga. They included 2 extras that look very similar to the ancona and very dissimilar to all of the other breeds that Cackle sells. Is there any hope they're not drakes? If they are, is 1 drake too much for 6 ducks? I'm going to have a million questions but right now I'm just smitten with them. I'm going to allow them their first supervised swim today. They seem to be doing quite well so far!

1 drake is really good for 6 ducks! But here is my question - how can you tell us about all these cute babies and not post any pics??? Congratulations!!!

1 drake with six ducks would be perfect. I have one drake with 5 ducks and they get along famously, though sometimes he does pick a favorite who will have a little feather loss/damage on the back of her neck, but I think no matter how many girls you have the drake always has a favorite.
