Hi I have had my 3 Cayuga Muscovy mules for 48 hrs. They have a large pen, shade, a dog kennel and a pool. They seem settled and are drinking and swimming. They haven't eaten though! I have tried duck pellets, they didn't eat them so I soaked them. Nope. Soaked wheat. Nope. Chopped fruit. Nope. Banana and oat mash. Nope. Leafy greens. Nope. Fresh grass shoots. Nope. What do I do? How long until I need to worry? I remember my geese wouldn't eat for the first 24 hrs when I got them. Please help!

Just leave them the regular pellets... when they are hungry, they will eat... most animals won't starve themselves if left an option...

I did wonder that. They came from an orchard where they foraged %100 of their food. I will let them forage on 1/3 of an acre under my fruit trees during the day soon but want them locked up for a while first and want to let the geese get used to them in the pen too. I don't want them to starve before then though :(
