New ducks to flock

So a friend of my sons brought me his 2 Pekin hens last night. One looks like it’s eyes aren’t completely open. It’s also dirty. One has a limp, which I am going to get nician for. Do you think it’s sickly? Can I go ahead and introduce these 2 to the rest of the flock? Any thoughts?

So is it ok if my other ducks sleep in duck house and they sleep in run? It’s connected but I can put divider in.

Hard to tell what exactly is going on. Could provide a little bit more information about the ducks?

Do you know what they were being fed, what they were being housed on/in? Are they pooping at all, if yes, could you post a picture? Are they eating/drinking much? Moving around?

Try to grab one, and do a nice thorough physical examination, checking around their vents, their abdominal area, mouth, feel their legs for swelling, make sure each joint bends, etc. Check their footpads, for signs of bumblefoot.

For now, since they're feeling under the weather, keep them in their own little pen area, with feed and water provided. If they're not drinking much, try dripping a few drops of Gatorade, or sugar water along their bill. Once they are feeling better, you can integrate them, but If their already feeling under the weather, integrating them may cause more stress.

Thank you for reply. I will find out what they were eating, however I suspect it wasn’t what I feed mine. I will check on them pooping and examine them.

A deep water dish, or a pool might be good, yes.

What do you think about some antibiotics? I have some chic quick I got when I got my ducklings. I went ahead and put some in their water. Any vitamins or anything I can get today?

As of now, there's nothing been stated to suggest they would benefit from antibiotics. Misuse of antibiotics leads to antibiotic-resistant bacteria.

Nutri-dench, poultry cell, are good vitamins.
