New ducks

Congrats. what are your temps at night and where are they being kept?

I just became momma to five ducklings. My question is, with it being so hot right now (80-90+) will they still need a heat lamp?
Congrats on your babies!! What breed(s)? Are they indoors or outdoors? They should be fine without it if it’s hot outside

I wondered how old are they? I kept my 3 day old Muscovy ducklings in the garage, no draft in a large storage tub and they did just fine in August with no heat in Ohio. I wasn't sure if these were newborns or a few days old.

I usually start my ducklings off at 85 and drop it 5* each week so most likely if not in a drafty area and it doesn't drop too much at night they are probably okay without heat.

They are outside, the temperature doesn't drop too much; about 75 or so

How old I would think if your temps get 75 or below you could offer some heat at night do you have a heat plate or light? place the lamp at one end of their brooder and watch to see if they use it. I'd set it for around 80 if they are just newly hatched.
