New egg layer.

I got my first egg yesterday, I was so excited, and it was perfect! But today, nothing. Is this normal?

Yes, that's normal. It takes a while for laying to become a regular occurrence. Even then, most chickens don't lay an egg every day.

Very normal. I have a pullet, my very first one to give me an egg who hasn't laid in a good week or more.

I have an Aussy and a B Giant Jersey, I think the one laying is the JG because her waddle and comb are full and bright red, she is also extremely chubby, and needy. The Aussy does not have full comb and waddle, she is skinnier and not showing any signs of laying yet.
