New egg layer

So excited that our girl Dottie laid her first egg. The next day, another one! Since then...none! I know they don't always lay everyday, and she is new to this. Is that normal? Chicken behavior is perplexing!

Yes, normal. My EE lays for 2 days then skips a day.

It can still be normal. New layers take a bit to get into a pattern.
