Gotta have clamcakes!

I've lived in Massachussetts(Taxachussetts)all my life. I can't even imagine living any where else. People who say Yankees are cold and standoffish, are wrong! We are just frozen from winter, and once we warm up we are very friendly(lol)!

spent my summer's in maine, still have a beach house there, but live too far away to go.......(2 young kids and a teen ager and a road trip is not my thing) spent my days at the beach eating subs from bennetts and hanging out at portgardens (when it was a bar restraunt) and federal jack's.......

don't forget the linguica here on the southshore of Ma. and the fried clams at McCrays. yum yum and thanks cause now I'm going to get me a half dozen clamcakes for lunch. There goes the diet!
But one of my favorite places is Newport, awesome shoreline and then of course there's the yearly visit to the Vineyard to shop!

My sis in law is from Boston and when we would go up there to visit we would always go to Revere Beach (SP) even in July that water was like ICE.

Really though great people I always liked the area, I went to Submarine School in New London, CT and I was there almost 3 years. If it wasn't for the winters I could live in NE easy.

True that about the water being like ice! It also drives me crazy that you can't see bottom! Ever since I was a little girl I was always afraid that I would step on something. I guess it really wouldn't matter because the water is so cold, that your legs and feet are numb and you probably wouldn't feel it anyway. I know I said earlier that I can't imagine living anywhere else, well that's not entirely true. Every February I dream of somewhere warm, then April comes and I think I can do this!!!
