Is anyone adding heat with these freezing temps. I didn’t want to, but my rooster wouldn’t stop crowing all night so I added a heat lamp secured well. He stopped crowing after that. I’m in Barrington, south eastern NH

I hung an electric blanket along the long side of my coop. Helps a bit during the coldest parts of the night. It’s auto off after 10 hours.
That’s a great idea. Love it! Our coop is a converted work shop and quite large so that wouldn’t work. I also do the deep litter method, but it’s so cold it’s not composting to make heat I don’t think.
 
I didn't add heat, the temps are only "temp" hahaha and I didn't have another cord to bring out there.
I only opened the coop door yesterday for about an hour. Not that I thought anyone would come out, just a bit of fresh air.
