What would be a good time in Northern New Hampshire to have a spring Chickenstock? My intent would be to offer a parking lot next door to a store where its going to be open with psychics available for anyone that wants to sneak in for a reading.
It has nothing to do with chickens, but it can be fun.

Believe it or not, my mother is building a incubator for me! That way I can hatch Turkey's....of course I will need to hatch a batch of chicks before buying turkey eggs!

Think Spring, Think Spring, Think Spring

From your finger tips to mother natures lands. I saw on the news where those in the paths of this storm are dealing with severe weather, lets hope that we get the snow not the other things this storm has to offer.

I let the girls out today so they could enjoy the sunshine even tho its cold. This year letting them go out for a while to stretch their wings and legs, they seem happier and more productive.
We had never heard of anyone allowing their birds out- glad we listened.

I'll get back to knitting- gives me something to complain about! ha ha ha.

Well, I just completed a sweater for my great nephew- red, white and blue. Now I'm working on booties and matching sweater (done) for my great-niece to be.

Thought it was just me with the "nesting", lol, I too cleaned out the bantam hutch, chicken coop with clean shavings (they get to keep the old litter in for warmth.
Just went and picked up 2 gallons of gas for the tractor/snow blower.
Now I'm just bummed, yucky storm. Whilst being in the garage- unorganized from years of stacking, I hung the live trap on its hook, moved my arm, an extra feeder that was hanging upside down, released its hold on the nail, thumping the Coleman's lantern, feeling the pot, don't ask me why its in a topless pot, but about 5 lbs of different nails struck upside down and rolled over my food shedding nails in all directions. The feeder struck about the same time the lantern hit the irrigation pump and hailed glass everywhere.

Picking up the most dangerous items, knowing I have to go and sort dirt, glass and nails now. I debated if I should drive or not as I was putting the gas cans into the back end of the SUV and your brightness here run the top of her head into the corner of the door (hatch type door).
I think if ANYONE had said anything I'd have cried- or screamed

lol
Oh, and I drove without having any issues, I'm in for the night, and don't call me, I may have to run for the phone

Yikes! Much be catchy. Too much rushing around getting ready. I'm full of cuts and bruises that I got today. I should be used to storms by now!
Too bad, I got used to dry roads.
