New Englanders! Much ado about New England!

OOOOhhhh, my birthday weekend!!! Thank you for not going against the Oxford one, but if a bunch of us are tending this one, then we won't be able to join in on your festivities- and I want to be there!!! One time we New Englanders can laugh in person and converse over toasted marshmellows!

The 7th was the day I blessed my parents! Screaming, independent and demanding. Not much of a change, eh?!

Well, not only was it the beginning of school but the end of vacation!

I'm looking forward to the upcoming events that are scheduled, perhaps I can get down to Milford at some point. I know that I'm able to drive the 3 hours now if I'm feeling well enough.

Each day is a new one!

Oh, my inspirational message for today is:

Don't despair when the going gets rough, for that's when you discover how strong you really are.

It is true. But there is another phrase that is hung in my head for years, and probably everyone has heard it before:

Its hard to remember that the main objective was to drain the swamp when you have all the alligators nipping at your butt!

I so agree with you BRF, we still have snow, but when you get off that frozen main land...woohooo its like quicksand, blooop blooop bubble gurgle!
As I was ambling back from tucking the girls in, I suddenly was aware of the sound and motion under foot...eerie in a way, then the sound came again, grating like you would hear in a earth quake when the ground moves, plates slipping together. You know the sound, and then this apparently flat rock slid off the other rock to make a sound like one I don't want to imagine, and then the suction of a rubber boot in the mud, schawwwick! Bubble bubble bubble.

Imagine that happening in 3 seconds, I think the devil was trying to get me, or the bad mud monsters! hee hee he.

I know that I need a pair of muck boots, Ive been wearing my LL Bean slip in shoes.

Have a great day, please you people in New England, stick to paved or pebbled walk ways- its a warning!
