Seqer-You will want to be sure your ark breaths in winter and can still stay draft free and dry. Will you have are warm area that you can heat a little bit if the temps stay below freezing? I use a 40 watt light bulb to take the chill off. It also keeps the water from freezing most nights.
So glad the sun has finally come out. Might be able to get the grass cut.

Koryan,

I live nearby and would be happy to talk. Email me anytime

The Bolton Fair is the BEST for chicken lovers

I have a friend who brings her morgans there and she told me to go see all the poultry they have. It was the biggest variety i have yet to see at a fair, and they were treated the best too. Always someone to make sure they have fresh food and water, and they are not left there for days like some places require.

Its not looking so good. I'm sooo tired of rain. Its not looking good for our gardens either. Guess Maine (sure not the only ones) are having a blight issue on veggie crops from the huge rains.
Not only that, where we planned on housing the young birds is a swap. Granted they are a lot lighter, but when we walk it squishes! How frustrating.

We had a shower earlier and it's now on the hot and sticky side for the first time. Still not that blaring summer heat, but closer to what we expect down here.
