New Englanders! Much ado about New England!

Don't stop with your clothes and shoes... ugg... some cooties are air born and you need to flush your nose.... I know that sounds gross.... but it is the truth... you breath in all that dust ... come home and sneeze.. Whalla.... you just brought home pandora's box.

Now how do I get the farm inspector to be so diligent . . . .

Hi everyone,

My name is Walter and I live on a farm in Rhode Island.

I am a really great duck (my mum and dad said so) but I am a little bit lonely. So, my mum and dad helped me write a personal ad and I put it on CL ~ http://providence.craigslist.org/grd/2987637983.html

and we started a FB page too https://www.facebook.com/WalterNeedsAFriend

all in the hopes of finding someone to keep me company.

So far I haven't found a friend and I was thinking that maybe you could help. Do you know of anyone with a Muscovy lady who lives near me? I sure hope so because I would really like someone to share my life with. There's lots to do and see here, I'm sure that she would be happy. And most especially I would be her best friend forever.

Thank you for reading this and helping me find a friend.

Happy splashing!

Walter

Hi Everyone.. SE Mass here.. Swansea

I have lived in RI, NH and MA... Miss NH the most as I farmed there. Now I am a BYC kinda girl.. who is happily raising six chicks, with 4 kids at home, one rescue basset hound, one rescue cat and two bunnies!!

Nice to meet you all!

Nancie

I still miss NH..sighs.. just loved living there. 10 years wasn't long enough. I pretty much despise suburban MA..which unfortunately is where I am stuck. Hub and I are working to make our tiny yard our little oasis.. and when we got our approval to have some backyard hens.. that about signed the deal for me.. We've been out building and planning on how to lock ourselves back there and tune out the rest of the world.. lol

You are not alone. We have carved out a little place for ourselves here in Mass; it's not Maine, but it will have to do!

Congrats on the approval. Enjoy!
