these little adorable fuzz balls. Two Barred Rocks name Judy and Betsie. Then two little Buff Orpingtons named Grace and faith. Will be adding three Rhode Island’s and One Easter Egger week after next. Fun time at the ole chicken coop

Congrats on the babies. Suggestio, don't use just plain newspaper because it's slippery and can cause "splay legs" on babies. Suggest at least using paper towel on top so they can grip and not slip.

I only use it for the first two weeks. I’ve never experienced any problems. Thanks for your concern just the same.

Agree with Windy Lane, plain newspaper isn't a good choice as it can cause splay legs on the chicks. But very cute babies you have there. Good luck!
