New family to backyard chickens

Hi all! I’m so happy to have a resource like this available! I have been stalking the site, reading posts and decided to join. My family and I have recently moved to western NY and have a new flock of 15 chicks, who are 4, almost 5 weeks old.
I am a small animal licensed veterinary technician, and know very little about chickens! We have a dog and 3 indoor kitties.
