Hello,

I recently got some Fibro Turkens. One of them turned out to have feathers on her neck. So out of the 3 others that have the Naked neck gene I believe one is a male. Let me know what you think. My main evidence is comb size but he is also larger and has a slightly longer tail.

I wanted to get a couple brass turkey poults for a friend of mine.Hatchery said they don't sex any.I don't even know if they can be shipped now because of avian flu now.Tractor Supply had some about a month ago.The day I went to ask yep had some sold out yesterday.Im about use to being a day late or a dollar short now .LOL

Thanks for the opinion Rhodebar Lover. 👍 this one also rules the roost. And is the biggest of all of my birds. I got 3 more from the same farm last night and all three tried to challenge this one and it lasted only a second. Now they ate all getting along.

Turkens are easy to sex. Males are bigger. Females are half their size. Males have fat and shorter middle toe whereas females have long skinny middle toe that is longer that it's other toes. Males wing feathers, at ends, are in a straight line whereas females are layered.

That depend on the line of birds, and is likely not applicable for the OP's birds.
