I just started feeding the girls RICE!! Holly Smokes do they love rice. I have not seen them devour anything like this.

It's pretty sad to admit but whenever I find a small bug anywhere, I think, boy my chicks would love THAT! I found a cricket in my bathroom tonight, caught it, and brought it out to the brooder. The runt was the one brave enough to get it. Almost scared to post this one...

Our birds love spaghetti and rice. They love lettuce and cooked carrots too! My daughter tried to give them cucumber the other day but they didn't like that too much.

My boys are always finding bugs or worms and throwing them in the coop to watch the birds chase them. It's so funny to them!

We love watching them, whatever they are doing.

I just discovered that my brood loves rice. They like rice more than getting out of the gate and running around on the grass for bugs. They were fighting at the bowl for space and food. They do not do that with anything else.

I love to give the girls whole wheat corkscrew cooked pasta. They shake it in their beaks, and they go flying, bouncing all over the place. This game is fun, almost like watching volleyball, their expressions are priceless, "yay, I got it, yoiu don't...hey, where'd it go..."
