Now, we can purchase this service directly through the BYC store correct? As for Not animated... we can't do a gif banner like the Murray? Where it switches the banner simply through a gif? Or do you mean no flash animation only?

Sorry Terri... the first part confused me, I went back and edited it to what I think I understand now.

Great questions!

Yes, you can purchase through the BYC store directly or you can email [email protected] for a custom "campaign" if you're into that kinda thing.

Since this is a new ad placement we want to avoid animated ads, at least for now. So a static 728x90 ad is what we support right now.

Regarding timing: The default is one calendar month, but the beauty of this system is you can choose any start / end date you want and the system will automatically distribute it evenly. So, you could have it start now and go for 48 days or start it in a week and have it go for 14 days, or whatever you want!

Ok, let me knock out some ad ideas, and a custom campaign / deal for the Valentine's day rush. Need something acceptable for BYC people!

Will there be a our advertisers page such as https://www.backyardchickens.com/LC-supplies.html so that if we see something, then click next before noticing a new add we wont have to keep refreshing till we get back to that add?? I saw looked like eggs, but pushed refresh before I NOTICED it wasnt the by BYC sticker add, now I have seen cookbook add, and advertise here add.

My point? If I see terrie is selling something, and want to go back to her add, is there a shortcut instead of refreshing till it appears again? Does that make sense?

Makes perfect sense. Right now you can see a list of all the official BYC sponsors by going to the supplies link above. Unfortunately we don't have a way to show all the advertisers in list form, but it is a good idea and we'll keep it in mind.

Although the new link placement (as a result of the increased bottom space) does mess up my super-fast clicking.
