Hi everyone. New chicken owners here. I have 4 babies. They will be 8 weeks old at the end of this month. We have 4 ladies(at least I'm guessing) 2 orpintons and 2 black ones. I think one is a new jersey giant and the other I'm still trying to figure out. But I noticed that one of my orpingtons had a boo boo on her beak. Can anyone tell me if this just a beak injury or is it something she needs medicine for. She's still her loving self. Eating and drinking okay. I do think I heard her sneeze a couple times outside. We have been introducing them to their coop outside more n more each day. Any thoughts or suggestions will help! Thanks. ☺️
I got a pic of her sleeping so yall can see. It's turning her beak like purple too. So I'm not sure if it's just bruised? Maybe?

Welcome to BYC!

Is she very weak? What's her diet? How are her droppings?

From what I can see of her beak, it just looks like it has a scratch.
Thank you! :)
Diet is starter feed. Along with outside yard grub. I give them mealworms and watermelon for treats. Droppings are normal. At first I thought Cecal droppings were bad lol so I was concerned but I found out its completely normal. I never realized how hard it is to get a picture of a chicken
