Thanks for the advice and for the welcomes! I can see this is a nice bunch of people that hang at this site! I am trying to get the nerve to go put a flashlight to one of these 14 eggs to see if they are fertile! HA, this chicken has turned attack since she is sitting on eggs. One of my neighbors said this was some kind of game hen?? But I don't know. The eggs are very light brown. Not sure if you can tell that from the picture I tried to load. Thanks to you all and hope we are gonna have peeps! The frame and wire goes up tomorrow to help mama stay safe and to keep the other hen from disturbing her for now. Wixie
