Hello,
We are brand new to the chicken world. I talked my husband into chickens a week before Easter and we got 6 beautiful ameriucanas. A week later we got 2 red sex links, 2 black sex links and 2 new Hampshire reds. We unfortunately lost 3 of the second batch and only have the black sex links and a new Hampshire Red left. I'm looking forward to learning and sharing on here with all of you!

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! Congratulations on your new flock! Sorry about the chicks you've lost, have you been able to figure out what was going on?
A great place to start checking out BYC is the BYC Learning Center, lots of nice articles on all aspects of poultry keeping you'll find helpful https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Centerand it is always fun to check out your state thread for chicken keeping neighbors https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/270925/find-your-states-thread

The last one that died is the only mystery one. The first two were unfortunately lack of common sense on my part and a curious dog. Needless to say I have learned my lesson! Thanks so much for the warm welcoming
