I live in Paso Robles and haven't had any chickens for a long time. I raised Buff Laced Polish before but this time I went for dual purpose soo I currently am raising 13 Delawares and 12 Partridge Rocks and 11 Cuckoo Marans and 1 White Crested Black polish they are 3 weeks old and doing great. Since I can't just do anything small I have more ordered to arrive 4/28 so I could get some turkeys. Help

I ordered eggs and my incubator is full of 50 eggs put those in 3/16 and 17th. I guess I'll have plenty of chickens

Oh and of course today I had to look at just one and it has veins....I told my darling husband that I'd be lucky to get 25 to hatch

He is a saint. We've been cleaning out my Chickens pens and figuring out building some tractors looks like we'll be busy.
 
Been chickenless for maybe 5 years and what I had was just extras from the feed store that didn't sell, 1 easter egger and a barred rock they were old and I went to a horseshow and my hubby forgot them

it was hot and they went over the rainbow bridge but they hadn't laid an egg in a long time.....before that it had been 10 years since I had all the polish I loved those they were wacky punk rock lookin chicks flighty an they never set not really big enough to eat lotta work but the kids showed them and won prizes now the kids are grown....
