Hi everyone, My wife and I decided to become chicken family. We are from a small town in central Minnesota. We are planning on starting with 6 chicks that we will be picking up next week. We have been tossing the idea around for almost two years and finally decided to pull the trigger. We are super excited and love having a resource like this available to us!

We are getting 3 buff orpingtons and 3 black australorps. We thought about getting 2 each of 3 different breeds but couldn't agree on a 3rd breed.
