Thank you so much! i'm still learning my way around but will definetly check it out, my husband wants to just save a chicken from a nearby poultry place but i'm so hesitant because I did that once and the chicken was so sick luckily I was able to get her the care she needed but it was really bad. i'm hoping to adopt a friend for her

Hi Guys i'm new to the BYC board but have had my chickens for about 6 years i'm currently down to 1 and desperately looking to adopt atleast 4 more, my last hen is so lonely and depressed she wont come out the coop i'm so sad seeing her this way any help appreciated.

Check out any local 4-H clubs...they love poultry, country vets know where the birds are, even feed stores may know of people that keep chickens. Good luck!

I have reached out to vets left my info, ASPCA etc I really did not want to buy chicks as thats how I got my flock while we loved having them I want to add friends to my older hen i'm hoping today I have luck, a feed store i called said they would have a delivery today of older girls fingers crossed!
